This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Bernard Piffaretti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work UN NU in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 52,500.00.
