Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale, which included the work Fleurs Dans Un Pichet - 1956 by Bernard Lorjou. The price achieved of EUR 7,150.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Lorjou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tournesols, which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,874.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fleurs Dans Un Pichet - 1956 von Bernard Lorjou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.150,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Lorjou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tournesols beobachtet, die im November 2011 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.874,82) versteigert wurde.
