This artwork by Bernard Lorjou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in July 2020. In the Michou Collection auction, the work La Petite Sirène - 1974 sold for EUR 3,510.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard Lorjou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tournesols in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,874.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bernard Lorjou erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Michou Collection wurde die Arbeit La Petite Sirène - 1974 für EUR 3.510,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Lorjou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tournesols im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.874,82).
