Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,650.00 (€ 9,122.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Dunstan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interior, Morning (Triptych) two 106.5 x 45.5cm (41 15/16 x 17 15/16in); the third 106.5 x 91cm (41 15/16 x 35 13/16in), which sold at auction in April last year for GBP 20,400.00 (€ 24,326.28).
