In November 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Dinner time by Bernard de Hoog. The result of EUR 10,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard de Hoog have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The bliss of motherhood in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dinner time von Bernard de Hoog zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard de Hoog auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The bliss of motherhood im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00.
