Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Mother and child in an interior by Bernard de Hoog for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,208.42). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale at Bonhams in Edinburgh and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard de Hoog achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The bliss of motherhood in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mother and child in an interior von Bernard de Hoog für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.208,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard de Hoog erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The bliss of motherhood im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00.
