Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #3 1963 by Bernard Cohen was sold in the Modern | British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in March 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,404.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard Cohen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grey Place in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,011.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #3 1963 von Bernard Cohen wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.404,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Cohen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grey Place im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.011,44).
