This artwork by Bernard Cohen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2017. In the Modern British & Irish Art auction, the work Untitled 1962 sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,222.73) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Cohen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grey Place in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,011.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bernard Cohen erzielte im März 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled 1962 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.222,73) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Cohen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grey Place im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.011,44).
