It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,515.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Benode Behari Mukherjee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frying Fish in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 70,000.00 (€ 59,609.98).
