Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Benjamin Eugène Fichel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Music Concert im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 38.240,00 (€ 32.939,96).
