Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,012.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Benjamin Eugène Fichel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Music Concert in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 38,240.00 (€ 32,939.96).
