Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work The Musicians by Benjamin D. Kopman for USD 204.80 (€ 188.95). This price was achieved in the auction American Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benjamin D. Kopman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman dressing her hair in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,705.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Musicians von Benjamin D. Kopman für USD 204,80 (€ 188,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benjamin D. Kopman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman dressing her hair im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.705,37).
