The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,739.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benito Quinquela Martín achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Puerto De Buenos Aires in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 421,000.00 (€ 270,565.55).
