Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Iranian untitled by Behjat Sadr. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,252.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Behjat Sadr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 96,250.00 (€ 111,643.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranian untitled von Behjat Sadr zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.252,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Behjat Sadr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.250,00 (€ 111.643,10).
