Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Beatrice Caracciolo could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,596.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Beatrice Caracciolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The White Wave in June 2014 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 31,957.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Beatrice Caracciolo konnte im März 2021 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.596,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Beatrice Caracciolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The White Wave im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 31.957,63).
