Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Beatrice Caracciolo was sold in the Zeineb et Jean-Pierre Marcie-Rivière: Grands collectionneurs et mécènes auction at Christies in Paris in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Beatrice Caracciolo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The White Wave, which sold at auction in June 2014 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 31,957.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Beatrice Caracciolo wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Zeineb et Jean-Pierre Marcie-Rivière: Grands collectionneurs et mécènes bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Beatrice Caracciolo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The White Wave beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 31.957,63) versteigert wurde.
