Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work The Annunciation by Battista Dossi for GBP 18,125.00 (€ 23,169.14). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Battista Dossi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Adoration of the Magi in December 2002 with an auction result of GBP 111,150.00 (€ 170,620.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Annunciation von Battista Dossi für GBP 18.125,00 (€ 23.169,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Battista Dossi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Adoration of the Magi im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 111.150,00 (€ 170.620,82).
