Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Bas Meerman was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2013. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bas Meerman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 5,625.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bas Meerman kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bas Meerman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 5.625,00 versteigert wurde.
