However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bartholomeus Molenaer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Classroom Interior, which sold at auction in May 2009 for EUR 11,250.00.

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.713,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00.
