In July 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work The Mystic Marriage of Saint Catherine by Bartolomeo Biscaino. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,759.22), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bartolomeo Biscaino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Volumnia with her sons before Coriolanus, the Castel Sant'Angelo beyond in July 2005 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 121,841.21).

Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Mystic Marriage of Saint Catherine von Bartolomeo Biscaino zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.759,22) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bartolomeo Biscaino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Volumnia with her sons before Coriolanus, the Castel Sant'Angelo beyond im Juli 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 121.841,21).
