In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with apples and pears on a silver charger, quinces, cauliflower, and flowers in a silver-gilt ewer, on a draped table; and Still life with pomegranates, pears, bush apples, citron, white figs, grapes, black figs in a porcelain bowl, and a by Bartolomeo Bimbi for USD 40,320.00 (€ 40,587.88). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture Online at Christies in New York and was even below th Other works by Bartolomeo Bimbi have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2010 by the work Gruppe von Früchten: Birnen, Aprikosen, Kirschen und Pflaumen. at CHF 66,000.00 (€ 46,345.41).
