Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern British Art, which included the work Untitled: Dancing Hare by Barry Flanagan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,480.00 (€ 71,009.21), 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barry Flanagan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nijinski Hare in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 1,451,250.00 (€ 1,684,421.98).
