Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hillcrest by Barker Fairley was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. Here, the upper estimate of CAD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CAD 7,800.00 (€ 5,600.42). Other works by Barker Fairley have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of CAD 15,600.00 (€ 11,200.83) in May 2011 for the work Yellow Trees.

Die Arbeit Hillcrest von Barker Fairley wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CAD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CAD 7.800,00 (€ 5.600,42) einen neuen Besitzer.
