Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Grisebach held the auction Frühjahr 2019 - Photographie, which included the work „Martha Graham – Deep Song“. by Barbara Morgan. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barbara Morgan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Martha Graham – "Letter To The World" (Kick)' in April 2020 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,820.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Grisebach die Auktion Frühjahr 2019 - Photographie durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Martha Graham – Deep Song“. von Barbara Morgan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barbara Morgan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Martha Graham – "Letter To The World" (Kick)' im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.820,63).
