Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Regular Script by Bao Xi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,888.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bao Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,899.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Regular Script von Bao Xi wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.888,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bao Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.899,75).
