Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work An Interior Scene With Figures Seated At A Table Eating Oysters And Children Playing And Blowing Bubbles by Balthasar Beschey. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,284.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Balthasar Beschey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A River Landscape With Wagons And Townsfolk On A Path And Boats; And An Extensive Landscape With A Windmill And Figures, A Canal Beyond in July 2005 with an auction result of GBP 131,200.00 (€ 190,304.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Interior Scene With Figures Seated At A Table Eating Oysters And Children Playing And Blowing Bubbles von Balthasar Beschey zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.284,38) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Balthasar Beschey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A River Landscape With Wagons And Townsfolk On A Path And Boats; And An Extensive Landscape With A Windmill And Figures, A Canal Beyond im Juli 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.200,00 (€ 190.304,36).
