Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Bahman Mohasses for GBP 56,700.00 (€ 67,174.19). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bahman Mohasses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minotauro sulla riva del mare in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,007,200.00 (€ 1,183,200.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bahman Mohasses für GBP 56.700,00 (€ 67.174,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bahman Mohasses erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minotauro sulla riva del mare im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.007.200,00 (€ 1.183.200,55).
