Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Apprizione by Bahman Mohasses. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,140.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bahman Mohasses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minotauro sulla riva del mare in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,007,200.00 (€ 1,183,200.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Apprizione von Bahman Mohasses zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.140,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bahman Mohasses erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minotauro sulla riva del mare im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.007.200,00 (€ 1.183.200,55).
