Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Bahman Mohasses achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2021. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Fiorella sold for GBP 352,800.00 (€ 414,449.12) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bahman Mohasses - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Minotauro sulla riva del mare, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 1,007,200.00 (€ 1,183,200.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bahman Mohasses erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Fiorella für GBP 352.800,00 (€ 414.449,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bahman Mohasses mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Minotauro sulla riva del mare beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 1.007.200,00 (€ 1.183.200,55) versteigert wurde.
