Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included this untitled work by Bahman Mohasses. The price achieved of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 173,989.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bahman Mohasses have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Minotauro sulla riva del mare in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,007,200.00 (€ 1,183,200.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bahman Mohasses zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 173.989,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bahman Mohasses auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Minotauro sulla riva del mare im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.007.200,00 (€ 1.183.200,55).
