This artwork by Bahman Mohasses achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in March 2019. In the Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,930.17) - well above the upper estimate of USD 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bahman Mohasses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minotauro sulla riva del mare in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,007,200.00 (€ 1,183,200.55).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bahman Mohasses erzielte im März 2019 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.930,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 45.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bahman Mohasses erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minotauro sulla riva del mare im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.007.200,00 (€ 1.183.200,55).
