Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Iranianuntitled (Scirocco) by Bahman Mohasses was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,833.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bahman Mohasses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minotauro sulla riva del mare in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,007,200.00 (€ 1,183,200.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Iranianuntitled (Scirocco) von Bahman Mohasses kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.833,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bahman Mohasses erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minotauro sulla riva del mare im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.007.200,00 (€ 1.183.200,55).
