It achieved a price of GBP 162,500.00 (€ 183,249.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Bahman Mohasses have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Minotauro sulla riva del mare in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,007,200.00 (€ 1,183,200.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Iranianuntitled (From The Jet Society Lady Series) von Bahman Mohasses kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 162.500,00 (€ 183.249,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bahman Mohasses auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Minotauro sulla riva del mare im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.007.200,00 (€ 1.183.200,55).
