This artwork by Bahman Mohasses achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2018. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Iranianuntitled (Cactus) sold for GBP 100,000.00 (€ 112,769.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bahman Mohasses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minotauro sulla riva del mare in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,007,200.00 (€ 1,183,200.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bahman Mohasses erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Iranianuntitled (Cactus) für GBP 100.000,00 (€ 112.769,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bahman Mohasses erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minotauro sulla riva del mare im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.007.200,00 (€ 1.183.200,55).
