The work Image Of Imagination Series (Red Angel Dreaming) by Bahman Jalali was sold in the Contemporary Art: "Cutting Edge 1" auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,222.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bahman Jalali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Image on Imagination in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,823.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Image Of Imagination Series (Red Angel Dreaming) von Bahman Jalali wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art: "Cutting Edge 1" bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.222,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bahman Jalali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Image on Imagination im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.823,61).
