Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Image of Imagination I by Bahman Jalali for GBP 350.00 (€ 389.93). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bahman Jalali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Image on Imagination in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,823.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Image of Imagination I von Bahman Jalali für GBP 350,00 (€ 389,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bahman Jalali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Image on Imagination im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.823,61).
