The »bidding war« ended at USD 162,500.00 (€ 150,018.46), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fra Bartolommeo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 12,962,500.00 (€ 9,542,476.44).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 150.018,46) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fra Bartolommeo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Madonna And Child im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.962.500,00 (€ 9.542.476,44).
