Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Série Détruite) by Ayman Baalbaki was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,848.83). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ayman Baalbaki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ya’Illahi (Dear Lord) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 377,000.00 (€ 286,300.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Série Détruite) von Ayman Baalbaki wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.848,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ayman Baalbaki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ya’Illahi (Dear Lord) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 377.000,00 (€ 286.300,12).
