Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lebanese contre Jour 7 by Ayman Baalbaki was auctioned at Sothebys in Dubai in November 2017. It achieved a price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 19,961.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ayman Baalbaki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ya’Illahi (Dear Lord) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 377,000.00 (€ 286,300.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lebanese contre Jour 7 von Ayman Baalbaki kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Dubai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 19.961,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ayman Baalbaki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ya’Illahi (Dear Lord) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 377.000,00 (€ 286.300,12).
