In April 2011 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art, which included the work Memories Of Annihilation by Aydin Aghdashloo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 104,500.00 (€ 70,508.06), 49% above the upper estimate. Other works by Aydin Aghdashloo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 145,000.00 (€ 100,221.18) in October 2007 for the work Memories of Destruction: The Years of Fire and Snow.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 70.508,06) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
