Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White-tailed eagle by the sea at dusk, scene from Långviksskär, Stockholm archipelago by Axel Sjöberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. The price achieved of SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,103.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Axel Sjöberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Solen dalar" (Setting sun) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 110,000.00 (€ 10,729.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White-tailed eagle by the sea at dusk, scene from Långviksskär, Stockholm archipelago von Axel Sjöberg kam im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.103,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Axel Sjöberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Solen dalar" (Setting sun) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 110.000,00 (€ 10.729,81).
