In June last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work "I havsbandet" by Axel Sjöberg. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,003.92), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Axel Sjöberg; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Solen dalar" (Setting sun) sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of SEK 110,000.00 (€ 10,729.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Spring Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "I havsbandet" von Axel Sjöberg zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.003,92) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Axel Sjöberg; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Solen dalar" (Setting sun) im Dezember 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 110.000,00 (€ 10.729,81).
