In October 2018 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Rolf Schmitz Collection H056, which included the work Rooftops by Axel Olson. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,350.34), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Axel Olson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Woman figure in gray and black" in November this year with an auction result of SEK 1,600,000.00 (€ 140,520.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Rolf Schmitz Collection H056 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rooftops von Axel Olson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.350,34) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Axel Olson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Woman figure in gray and black" im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.600.000,00 (€ 140.520,72).
