In October 2011 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm, which included the work "Hus vid havet" (The House By The Sea) by Axel Kargel. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,883.92), 73% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Axel Kargel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot House by the sea, Öland, Sweden sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,684.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Hus vid havet" (The House By The Sea) von Axel Kargel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.883,92) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Axel Kargel; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit House by the sea, Öland, Sweden im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.684,08).
