This artwork by Awiki achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Still Life sold for HKD 97,500.00 (€ 10,984.84) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Awiki; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,557.07).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Awiki erzielte im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Still Life für HKD 97.500,00 (€ 10.984,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Awiki; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still Life im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.557,07).
