Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blossoming flowers by Awiki was sold in the Indonesian Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Awiki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,557.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blossoming flowers von Awiki wurde im September 2006 in der Auktion Indonesian Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Awiki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.557,07).
