Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Avigdor Stematsky was sold in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Art at the Hilton Hotel, Tel Aviv auction at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2007. The price achieved of USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,513.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Avigdor Stematsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract Composition in December 2017 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,954.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Avigdor Stematsky wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Art at the Hilton Hotel, Tel Aviv bei Christies in Tel Aviv versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.513,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Avigdor Stematsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract Composition im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.954,25).
