This work without title by Avery Singer was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 22,050,000.00 (€ 2,617,808.22), 47% above the upper estimate. Other works by Avery Singer have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 5,253,000.00 (€ 4,895,163.54) in May last year for the work Happening.
