Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Avery Preesman for EUR 1,890.00. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Avery Preesman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 10,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Avery Preesman für EUR 1.890,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Avery Preesman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.625,00.
