Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work Still Life by Avery Preesman. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,276.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Avery Preesman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 10,625.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life von Avery Preesman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.276,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Avery Preesman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 10.625,00 versteigert wurde.
